Virgin Australia launches seasonal route Today's News

Virgin Australia has introduced seasonal thrice-weekly direct flights between Newcastle, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand. The route will operate during the peak holiday season from November 22 to February 19, 2019. 

The flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. 

“Virgin Australia will be providing 13 000 additional seats across the busy holiday season,” said Michael McCormack, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport. 

Flight VA198 will depart Auckland at 17h10 and arrive in Newcastle at 18h45. The return flight VA199 will depart Newcastle at 19h30 and arrive in Auckland at 00h25 the next day.
