Lufthansa upgrades inflight entertainment Today's News

Lufthansa has upgraded its inflight entertainment programme for long-haul flights, adding around 30% more films for a total offering of 180 films in all flight classes.

The upgrade is focused on Hollywood productions. The new ‘Hollywood Recent Hits’ category allows passengers to choose from Hollywood films from the past 12 to 24 months. There are also more films from Europe, China, India, Japan, and Korea.

The number of TV shows available, especially those in the documentary, drama series, and sitcom categories, has also been increased to 270. There are also now 22 films and 31 TV programmes suitable for children.

The films and TV shows offered are available as dubbed versions in up to eight languages, and many are also broadcast with subtitles in Chinese or Arabic.
