Seabourn introduces new dining offering Today's News

‘Earth and Ocean at the Patio’ is Seabourn’s latest dining experience, and will debut on the launch of Seabourn Ovation, the line’s newest ship in May.

Chef Anton Egger developed the à la carte venue, which will be available for dinner service, with The Patio continuing to offer pool-side lunches, serving salads, soups, grilled specialities and gourmet pizzas.

The restaurant’s menus will change daily, including a different dish cooked in a Moroccan tagine each evening. Other items will include smoked bacon grissini, quick-fired or grilled meat brochettes, beef brisket, and Chinese-style filled bao buns. The venue will also offer a different farmer’s-style finishing course each evening, such as shareable oven-baked camembert or brie, accompanied by a pot of honey and whole-grain mustard, served with toasted rustic bread. Desserts will include oven-baked peaches, or slow-roasted pineapples served with gelato. 

Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn, said: “The new concept, which has some really unique service elements, will be one of many highlights for guests to savour with the launch of Seabourn Ovation, and we look forward to expanding it to all our ships in the year ahead.”
