The refreshed Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius reopened on September 9, following extensive refurbishments. Work included new interiors throughout and the introduction of a new room category - the Deluxe Sea Facing Room.

The new category includes 16 ground and first floor units on the resort’s western beach, just metres from the sea, each with separate bath and shower.

Joanne Visagie, sales and marketing manager for Beachcomber Tours in South Africa, says the resort now holds a stronger pull for golfers, with guests having access to the new 18-hole Mont Choisy Le Golf from November.

Le Banyan Spa has also undergone modifications, with an improved entrance and a new perimeter wall to enhance privacy. A hamman/sauna has beenadded.

Further to this, in January 2018, a new Canonnier kids’ club will become operational.

Joanne says: “Canonnier Beachcomber can be booked on an optional all-inclusive basis, with interchangeability at two other Beachcomber resorts in the north of Mauritius, Victoria Beachcomber and Mauricia Beachcomber.”
