Agents can, for the first time, book Avis Van Rentals via the GDS. This means they no longer have to make bookings via the Avis Van Rental website or their reservations call centre.

Leon Fourie, gm of Avis Van Rental, says this will makes the bookings process much more convenient.

“This system has also enabled us to open up more Avis branches for bookings and provide a wider fleet range selection.”

Agents will also get more points than normal on the Avis rewards programme for each checked out rental they book. The extra points promotion will be valid for one month from May 17.
